1、七年级英语下册 Unit 3 Section B预习指导一、知识点1.Bus stop 公共汽车站点Stop作名词时，意为“车站”stop作动词时，意为“停止”常用结构: stop to do sth. “停下来去做另一件事”Stop doing sth. “停止正在做的事”Stop sb.from doing sth. “阻止某人做某事”Eg: Im tired, lets stop to have a rest. “我累了，让我们停下来休息一下吧！”Im tired, lets stop working. “我累了，让我么停止工作吧！”The weather stopped me from

2、 going to school on foot.天气阻止我走路上学。2.Bus station 公共汽车站3.Train station= railway station 火车站4.Subway station 地铁站5.Say、speak、talk、tell区别：Say“讲；说”，指用语言表达思想，侧重于所说的具体内容Speak“讲；说；发言”，侧重讲话的动作，后面常接某种语言Talk“谈话”，指双方之间的相互交谈，后面常接介词to/withTell“告诉”，既注重说话的内容，又有告诉的对象。常用结构为：tell sb.sth.= tell sth.to sb.“告诉某人某事”；Tell

3、sb.(not) to do sth. “告诉某人（不）做某事”Tell stories “讲故事”； tell a lie “说谎”Eg: Can you say it in English? “你能用英语说它吗？”Can you speak English? “你会书英语吗？”The teacher is talking with my mother. “老师正在和我妈妈谈话。”My mother tells me to clean my room. “我妈妈告诉我打扫房间。”6.Imagine (动词) “想象”后面常跟宾语从句常见搭配：imagine doing sth.= imagi

4、ne that 从句Eg: Please imagine flying in the sky.= Please imagine that you can fly in the sky.想象一下你在天空飞翔。7.Live作动词，意为“居住”常用结构： live in + 地点 “住在某地”注意：live后的地点如果是here/there等地点副词，则须省略掉介词inEg: My uncle lives in Beijing. “我叔叔住在北京。”She doesnt live here. “她不住在这。”8.Think of 意为“认为；想起；考虑”等。后面跟名词、代词、动名词等。Eg: Wha

5、t do you think of it? = How do you like it?= How do you feel about it?“你认为它怎么样？”9.Cross the river 过河Cross 作名词，意为“十字架”Cross作动词，意为“横过；越过”，常指从表面穿过，其对应介词为across, cross = go/walk across其派生词：crossing (名词) “十字路口” Across 与 through的区别：Across 指从物体这一侧穿越到另一侧；而through指从物体内部穿过。Eg: The old man is walking across th

6、e road. “这个老人正在过马路。”The old man is walking through the forest.“这个老人从森林里走过。”10.Do you walk or ride a bike? 你走路还是骑自行车？该句为选择疑问句，不可用yes和no来回答，要选择一种Eg: - Can you sing or dance?- I can dance.- 你会唱歌还是跳舞。- 我会跳舞。11.For sb. 对某人来说Eg: Learning English is difficult for me.学英语对我来说很难。12.It is + adj.+ (for sb.+) to

7、 do sth. “（对某人来说）做某事是.”Eg: It is easy for me to learn English.意为“对于我来说学英语很容易。”13.Students in one small village in China 在中国一个小村庄的学生此处in one small village in China为后置定语修饰前面名词students14.Between A and B 意为“在A和B之间”Eg: There is a very big river between their school and the village.在他们学校和村庄之间有一条大河。15.Run

8、quickly 流得快；水流湍急Run作动词时，意为“奔跑；流动；运转”等意。Eg: He runs very fast.“他跑得很快。”The river runs into the sea “这条河流流入大海。”The machine run very well. “机器运转的很好。”Run作名词时，意为“路程；短期旅行”Eg: Lets go for a run through the forest.意为“让我们跑过森林吧！”16.Go on a ropeway “走索道”17.11 - year - old 为形容词短语，意为“11岁的”用来修饰名词，而11 years old 是数词

9、短语，意为“11岁”注意：11-year-old中的year不需要变复数Eg: She is an eight - year - old girl.她是一个八岁的女孩。18.Be afraid 意为“害怕”Afraid作形容词，意为“害怕的；恐惧的”，常用结构：be afraid of doing sth. “害怕做某事”（怕做而不敢做）Be afraid to do sth.“害怕做某事”（担心会发生某事而实际上未必发生）Eg: He is afraid of swimming. “他害怕游泳。”He is afraid to ask some question. “他害怕问问题。”Be a

10、fraid 后也可加that 从句Eg: He is afraid that she wont come.“他担心她不会来。”19.Play with . 和.玩耍Eg: I love to play with my classmates.我爱和我的同学玩。Dont play with fire.不可以玩火。20.Be like 像Eg: Hes like a father to me.他对我来说像父亲。21.Leave 作动词（过去式：left/过去分词：left），意为“离开某地”“遗落”；而leave for意为“动身前往某地”Eg: She will leave Beijing. “她

11、将离开北京。”I left my homework at home. “我把作业落在家里了。”She will leave for Beijing. “她将动身前往北京。”22.Dream to have a bridge “有一座桥的梦想”To have a bridge动词不定式作后置定语dream作动词，意为“做梦；梦见；向往”等意，后面可以直接加名词作宾语，也可与接词of连用Eg: I dream about my best friend. “我梦见我最好的朋友了。”I dream of becoming a teacher. “我梦想成为一名老师。”Dream也可作名词，意为“梦想”

12、Eg: Its my dream to be a singer. “成为歌手是我的梦想。”23.Come true = achieve 意为“实现”，常用来表示梦想、愿望等得以实现Eg: My dream will come true one day. “我的梦想有一天会实现。”24.Thanks for . “为.而感谢”，后面常跟名词、代词、动名词等Eg: Thanks for your help.= Thanks for helping me.“感谢你帮助我。”25.Last (副词) “最后；最近”(介词) “最后一次；最后的人”(名词) “末尾；最后一天；上一次”(动词) “持续”(
