3、ate Case is one of the most inglorious political scandals in American history. It has long-term influence to U.S.A.s national history and the whole international press. In the general presidential election of 1972, in order to make the information of the election tactics inside Democratic Party, Jun

5、times is the short name of The New York Times, which is the most famous American daily newspaper in New York City. It was published since 1851. Because of its serious and classical style, it is also called The Gray Lady. Now the NY times is published all over the world and translated into different

6、kinds of languages.As a newspaper with long history, the NY times develops into a famous newspaper with high public credibility and authority. Its influence is more than newspaper. Sometimes its comment would be regarded as American attitude; sometimes it is a reliable record for expert and scholars

The NY times becomes a communication platform for people from all over the world.HeadlineThe headline is the text at the top of a newspaper article, indicating the nature of the article below it.The large type front page headline did not come into use until the late 19th century when incr

Most of time, the news under the headline or the news about the headline are aim to remind and warn people of not doing something. But, with the developmen

Headlines appearance is a kind of exchange of journalism stylistic, from then on, journalism is not inflexible and serious any more, emotions and

10、 life is put into journalism.Breaking NewsBreaking news, also known as a special report or news bulletin, is a current event that broadcasters feel warrants the interruption of scheduled programming and/or current news in order to report its details. Breaking News is an important part of news report

11、ing. Everyday something uncontrolled would happen in the world. The aim of journalism is to send messages, so Breaking News itself is a test. How could we send messages about the unexpected events quickly and exactly? Especially when it comes to accidents and disasters. That is the point of Breaking

12、 News.Documentary Documentary is the record part of journalism. By the use of narrative, descriptive, lyrical and other techniques, gives specific and vivid news reporting. Most of time, documentary is a firm or a radio or television programme about giving fact about something. Nowadays, documentary

13、 is more and more popular in journalism. The real and objective parts of documentary attract people most, touching daily life stories are peoples favorite. With the development of journalism, documentary is more and more closed to peoples life. Documentary is a news style which comes from life and w

14、hich must live in life, it could resonate with peoples mind and heart easily. So documentary could influence generations of people.Twitter Twitter is an online social networking service and micro blogging service that enables its users to send and read text-based messages of up to 140 characters, kn

15、own as tweets.It is obviously that twitter gives us more chances and more space to communicate with others. And as a special online social networking service, it gives us a new experience which we could try different identities under the help of network. But there are also some people take advantage

16、 of the special function, the new identity do help people show themselves, but also add the difficulties of distinguishing. Until now, people could not balance the attitude to net friends, trust or not, that is a question. But we could not deny that the appearance of twitter open a new field and a n

17、ew environment for human Sections of newspaperSections of newspaper means arrange the different parts of newspaper properly, which focus more on the arrangement of pictures and articles.Section is the taste of a newspaper which is the first impression on the newspaper. Good sections could show the a

18、uthority, standard and creativity of a newspaper. So the sections of newspaper is not only convenient for reading, but also for competition. The newspaper with good sections could attract more buys.Tabloid Tabloid is another form of newspaper which is not as official as newspaper. The Britain tabloi

19、d includes two types: one type is the tabloid whose size is smaller than the official newspaper and the content is more close to daily life. The other type is the tabloid which is vulgar with all the report about thrill crime, celebrity gossip and divine. Tabloid is also the culture of a country, es

20、pecially in Britain. Survey shows that the tabloid is more popular than the official newspaper among people. The first reason is that tabloid would like to show us the truth which the official newspapers try to hide; the second is that we need gossip to relax ourselves. AnonymousAnonymous means the

21、news from people who would not like to show their identity to the public in order to protect themselves or because of the sensitive issues.Anonymous demand higher on the reality of news, because sensitive issues always happen with the anonymous. So the insurance of reality contracted closely with pe

22、oples concentration. Anonymous is a special part of news reporting whose aim is to attract people by stimulating. Also, anonymous gives ordinary people chances to join into journalism. To what extent does journalism influence world events?Introduction With the development of economic and technology,

23、 our life become more and more rich and colorful. As the main media of spreading news, journalism become stronger and stronger, in order to match the demand of the world until it plays an important and necessary role in our life. With the help of high technology, the news spreading tools and styles

24、of journalism also become professional and technical. So, the influence extent of journalism on the world becomes more and more pr-founded and lasting. Journalism is the work of collecting and writing news stories for newspapers, magazines, radio or television. So, the aim of journalism is to spread

25、ing and recording news, especially the world events. But during the news reporting, journalism changes peoples mind and attitude. Then, the change of mind and attitude influence the world events. Different influence depends on different time with different news spreading tools, here, I divide these

26、tools into three parts with the development of journalism which could match the process and extent of journalisms influence on the world events. Chapter 1 News spreading tools of the masses The masses is the most basic and most necessary tools of journalism. Journalism grows from the masses and deve

27、lopes for the masses. During the beginning period of time when news spreading tools focus mostly on the masses, because of the immature style, most of the time, gossips and the rumors could influence people most, while not some official positive views. So, during that time, journalism just a tool of

28、 spreading news, it could not control its influence on world events properly. In Greek mythology, the Trojan War was waged against the city of Troy by the Achaeans (Greeks) after Paris of Troy took Helen from her husband Menelaus king of Sparta. The war is one of the most important events in Greek m

29、ythology and has been narrated through many works of Greek literature, most notably through Homers Iliad and the Odyssey. The Iliad relates a part of the last year of the siege of Troy; the Odyssey describes Odysseuss journey home. Other parts of the war are contained in a cycle of epic poems, which

30、 have survived through fragments. Episodes from the war provided material for Greek tragedy and other works of Greek literature, and for Roman poets including Virgil and Ovid. As the most of beautiful woman which recognized by public, Helen has to take the responsibility of the Trojan War. But the t

31、ruth is that peoples praise attract the heroes at that time, finally the competition for Helen becomes the fight for land. That is the primary journalism which depends on only the masses, unfortunately, the journalism could start a war, but it could not stop a war.Chapter 2News spreading tools of pa

32、per During this time, the news spreading tools develop as newspaper, magazines and books. Journalism start focus on news recording beside news spreading. By the help of paper, news reporting become more official and the range of dissemination become lager. To some extent, journalism could not only i

33、nfluence the world event, but also journalism could control the direction of development. In the world II War, when the Anti-Fascist War breaks all over the world, the No News from Auschwitz by A.M.Rosenthal which was published in the New York Times lead an Anti-Fascist upsurge. From that we could s

34、ee that people start to know the influence of journalism on the world event and we are on the way to take advantage of journalism in order to leading the direction of development.Chapter 3News spreading tools of new technology The tools of new technology includes radio, television, internet and mobi

35、le phone. With the development of new technology, the sphere of journalisms influence becomes almost all over the world . At that time, journalism already get the skill of control the world events. People start to addicted to control the journalism in order to control the world. During the recent Un

36、ited States presidential election, Romney failed because of a video secretly recorded in which he announced that he was the president only for the rich. Now, journalism is not just spreading news any more, we have already got the skill of journalism controlling the world event. Conclusion According
