9、ause they havent had enough meals at home.One of the other major challenges that Tabichi faces is keeping kids in school as long as possible.So Tabichi spends most of his time outside of the classroom working on ways to keep kids in school.When the 36-year-old teacher gets the feeling that a student

10、 is at risk of dropping out,he works to persuade families to put more value in education.To help those in poverty afford food,uniforms,and books,Tabichi also gives away 80 percent of his salary.Despite all the obstacles he faces,Tabichi is credited for improving the school and keeping much of the vi

I had always enjoyed learning languages in school, but only recently did I start learning German. I found that I could understand and learn ind

15、ividual words easily, but when it came to literature, I really struggled. That was when my tutor at university suggested reading some childrens books printed in the target language.At first, I felt a bit silly going on a hunt for a book designed for someone half my age, but then I realized that ever

17、ckens and James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl.The beauty of reading books that were introduced to you as a child is that you are already familiar with the plot. As a result, you can work out some of the definitions of words with your prior knowledge of the story. At first, I used to read with th

18、e book in one hand and a dictionary in the other, but this method did not work well for me. The method I would recommend is to read a chapter of your chosen childrens book and at the end of that chapter, highlight the words you do not know and then look up the definitions. If you can wait a bit befo

19、re you use a dictionary, you may be surprised at what you can get merely from the context of the sentences in the story.
