Family life plays an important part in the Ss daily life. In this unit, Ss will learn how to make polite requests and ask for permission po

2、litely by using “Could you please./* and “Could I please.” They must learn to use them at different situations. And this class is the third period of this unit. This is a story happening between Nancy and her mother. This story is so related to our daily life that its easy to arouse students* learni

3、ng interest. After this class, ss must realize its not enough to just get good grades at home. Helping parents around the house is of the same importance. Because as a family member, everyone should play a part in keeping the house clean and tidy. And this is a reading class, they will get some usef

4、ul reading strategies and this will further improve their reading skills.II Analysis of StudentsThe students have learned some simple chores when they were in primary school, so talking about chores is a familiar and easy topic for them. 23、带领学生把 握叙述性故事常按照时间顺序的写作特点,抓住时间节点(last month, for one week, the next day,) 来划分层次,降低阅读难度。3.以主人公们之间情感关系的变化作为暗线,带领学生勾画动词和 角色扮演对话的方式让学生去感受人物的情感变化,同时也让学生注意到语言特点是人物情感的反 映。4.收尾相扣,最后让学生以一句话概括每个场景大意,然后再用连词连接的的方式概括出了 全文大题,得出5W中最后一个待解决的what。本课总体反响良好,稍有遗憾的地方是因为本节 课是线上教学,学生在产出部分不能进行小组讨论,限制了一些思维的碰撞,有些同学写出的 ending还不够有创意。
