The Giglio, adorned with religious icons and faintly resembling a wedding cake, isthe c

4、enterpiece of one of the city s oldest Catholic festivals. In the past, the church turned away some volunteers hoping to be lifters, or paran- zas. But Williamsburg over the past two decades has trans- formed into a center of gentri- fied Brooklyn, with many long- time residents moving out. Its Ital

35、y. Employees working with any programs deemed to be sensi- tive will have to sever those ties or resign from the depart- ment, according to the docu- ment and department officials. The department has found that foreign-talent programs have offered scientists in its national lab system hundreds of th

In some instances, Energy Department laboratory per- sonnel have been recruited by foreign military-affiliatedContinuedfromPageOnetalent programs, Mr. Brouil- lette said.
