17、 the college. By contrast, a successful student acts in an opposite way. He soaks up a variety of resources, such as reading extensively and gaining experience by doing some part-time jobs. He will never loaf around and waste time for nothing.Second, just as the farmers need to nurture their crops e

A lazy farmer who neglects fertilizing the soil will probably find his crops in bad conditions and have poor harvests in the end. A college student who is not diligent or not serious about learning will fail

It has been proved that those successful college students constantly review their lessons, seldom hesitate to turn to their teachers for answers to their puzzles and do a lot of reading related to what they have learned I

20、 order to solidify and update their knowledge. Finally, learning is also analogous to farming in that the more work you do, the greater reward you might gain. A hardworking farmer who has carefully sowed the seeds and nurtured the crops will undoubtedly have a good harvest at last. Equally, an indus

Although the experience of signing such a contract will be engraved in the examinees memory, few students take it seriously because the practice seems to have taken some characteristics of a political campaign and because it has little legal effect.

24、 In consequence, examinees feel little weight of the so-called promise or vow as we cannot deprive their right to take examinations if students refuse to sign the contract. B.Should Interview Be Taken as a Policy to Reform College Admission?Despite the rampant complaints concerning college entrance

25、examination, reforming measures remain cautious for the simple reason that such a nation-wide matriculation seems to be the only way to ensure a fair process. With the new policy, who can assure people that there will be no under-the-counter deals? When the new policy is duplicated, a large team of

26、professors would have to be involved in the procedure. However, more interviewers mean there will be greater chances for corruption. Consequently it is very hard to convince the public of the fairness in college enrollment, a highly sensitive issue for Chinese today.4) CombinationShould Teachers Be

27、Replaced by Multimedia?A flexible and individualized way of imparting knowledge or skill is called for in the process of education, which is beyond the intelligence of computers and other modern technology. Take a problem in mathematics for example. Some students may understand it after teachers dem

28、onstration for the first time; but for those who appear relatively slow in mathematic intelligence, the teacher had better try to detect students problem and work out another way to drive it home to them. However, technically speaking, it is very hard to achieve the same result for pre-designed educational software.
