1、教学设计内容设计主题Book2 Unit2 The story of Atlanta设计者工作单位教学对象高一课 时1课时联系电话1.整体设计思路、指导依据说明整体设计思路:在多媒体教学环境下,先通过一个穆斯林妇女参加奥运会的视频和几张图片介绍现代女性参加奥运会的情况。通过对比引出古代奥运会不允许女性参加的现象,这正和本文的主人公Atlanta的遭遇相似。从而引出本课话题the story of Atlanta。通过课文的略读和细读,使学生学会抓住文章的主要信息,在了解故事的发展的基础上,让学生对故事结局进行预测,并通过听力练习了解文章的结局。接着又用一个小视频和一些图片引出讨论话题whats

2、 your favorite sport? 讨论后让学生写成3至5句小短文进行展示。最后对课文进行升华,让学生了解“世上无难事只怕有心人”只要努力拼搏就可以取得胜利的奥运精神。设计指导依据说明:英语新课程标准提出:英语教学要激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,发挥自主学习的能力和合作精神,在加强对学生综合语言运用能力培养的同时,注重提高学生用英语获取信息、处理信息、分析问题和解决问题的能力,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,培养学生跨文化交际意识。并结合学生的实际对教材进行操作性较强的处理。在文本解读中,教师需要深入解读文本,挖掘文本所蕴含的丰富信息,读出他们的逻辑关系、

3、内在思想,读出文本背后的故事,并在阅读教学中加以体现,从而引领学生从不同的视角理解、体验和感受文本,赋予文本以生命,赋予课堂以活力,使阅读教学变得立体和综合,最终实现提高学生英语学习兴趣和综合语言运用能力的目的。2.教学背景分析教学内容分析:本课是人教版(必修2)unit2 usinglanguage部分。是关于奥运会的一个古希腊神话故事。这部分涵盖了语言运用中的读和听。阅读讲述的是一个美丽的古希腊神话故事:亚特兰大和英雄希波墨涅斯的故事,这个话题很容易激起学生的学习兴趣;但这是一个未完的故事,学生渴望知道故事的结局,从而引出听力的环节。因为希腊神话是西方文明的摇篮,所以本课的教学对学生了解西

4、方文化和英语语言发展是很有帮助的。在教学中我主要采用任务型教学和合作探究的学习法,从而培养学生的综合语言运用能力,这也充分体现了新课标的理念,是本单元学习中重要的一部分。学生情况分析:刚进入高一不久的学生对高中英语的学习还没有明确的目标,也未掌握精读、略读等技巧以及识别关键词、确定主题句、预测等阅读微技能;用英语交流的能力不强。但他们求知欲和好奇心强,渴望得到班级同学和老师的认可,思维比较活跃。大部分学生在老师的鼓励下能主动地配合老师,愿意开口说英语。因此在教学中要设计他们感兴趣的活动,因材施教,才能激发他们的学习英语的兴趣,让他们积极投入到英语课堂活动中来。3.教学目标分析According

10、计(中文为主 + 所教学科目标语言)Step1. Lead-in and warming up ( 4 minutes)Activity1: Appreciate a video Muslin women make Olympic history. Aim: 用视频导入,具有形象、生动、直观等特点,能吸引学生的注意力,激发学生的学习兴趣,同时能激活学生已有的背景知识,使学生对本课话题的背景知识有一个直观的了解。Let students know that with the development of society, there are more and more women competi

11、ng in Olympic Games.Activity2: Show some pictures of Chinese women athletes who won gold medals in Olympics.Aim: Let students know that women are not only allowed to take part in Olympic Games, but also play an important role in it. Then tell the students in ancient Olympic Games, women were not all

12、owed to take part in the Olympic Games. So it can naturally lead to the topic of the passage: the story of Atlanta (a princess who was also not allowed to take part in the Olympic Games)Step2:Pre-reading:( 2 minutes)Acitity3: Tell the students “Story” must be a narrative and the story is often organ

13、ized in the order of time. It may include: who, when, where and what.Aim:读前先让学生知道一般说来故事属于什么文体记叙文;记叙文包含的要素:人物、时间、地点、事件。Step3 Check the preview work ( 3 minutes)Acitity4: Ask students to tell the main characters in the story and their relationship by means of some pictures.Aim: Let students get a gene

14、ral idea of the characters and the relationship between them. 培养整体意识,建立信息框架,让学生弄清文章大意。从而清楚这个故事中所包含的几个要素。Step4 Scanning (5 minutes)Activity5: Let students read the whole passage quickly, and then answer the following questions. Aim: 细读前设置3个导读性问题,引导学生在阅读过程中获取有效信息并对这些有效信息进行处理,训练学生快速捕捉和获取文章主要信息的能力,培养良好的阅读习惯,形成正确的阅读策略。Step5 Detail reading (10 minutes)Activity6: Let students read the whole passage carefully, and decide whether the following statements are T or F.1. 24、节的导入中,先用视频导入,再让学生将视频中所出现的体育运动的名称说出来。 然后用一个小竞赛的方式将课堂气氛推向高潮。2. 教师关注教学方法,整堂课体现了一个“活”字。教师借助多媒体,不断运用图片、视频、肢体语言向学生传授知识。3. 教学活动设计丰富多彩、有趣。师生对话、小组活动、个人活动等。4. 学中用、用中学,学用结合,学以致用,体现了“学为主体,较为主导”的新课程理念。5. 板书设计别出一目了然。 不足:由于学生的知识积累及语言运用有限,表达自己的看法时还夹杂着汉语。这说明在平时的教学中我应积极地对教学进行反思和总结,注重对学生知识的积累,并创造更多学生运用语言的机会,解决他们的困难。评价
