1、八年级英语下册 M2U2知识讲解1.Interesting place 有趣的地方；名胜古迹Interesting (形容词) “有趣的”常常用来修饰物；Interested (形容词) “感兴趣的”常常用来修饰人常见搭配：be interested in doing sth.= be interested to do sth.对做某事感兴趣Eg: She is interested in this interesting book.她对这本有趣的书感兴趣。She is interested in reading books.她对读书感兴趣。2.Visit (动词) “参观；拜访”- visi

2、tor (名词) “参观者”Eg: There are lots of visitors visiting China every year.每年有很多参观者来参观中国。3.The Great Wall 长城Eg: The Great Wall is in China. 长城在中国。4.Other, the other, others, the others与another区别：Other “其他的；另外的”常作限定词使用，后面可以接名词The other “两者中的另一个”为特指，常用结构为one., the other. “一个.；另一个”Others 用于已知的一些人或物中，出去某些后余

3、下的人或物中的一部分。译为“其他”为泛指，常用结构为some., others. “一些.，另一些.”。Others = other + 可数名词复数The others用于指一定范围内出去一个或一部分后，余下的全部人或物。译为“其余的；其余全部”为特指，我们常用the others = the other + 可数名词复数Another “另一个；再一个”为泛指，三者或三者以上中的另一个Eg: I cant see you now - some other time, maybe.我现在不能见你 - 也许别的时候吧。I have two brothers, one is a doctor,

4、the other is a teacher.我有两个哥哥，一个是医生，另一个是老师。Some people came by car, others came on foot.一些人开车来，另一些人走路来。Can you give me another chance?你能再给我一次机会吗？5.fifteen-year-old boy 十五岁的男孩数字 - year - old 结构为形容词，常常用来修饰名词；而 数字 years old结构常常表示“.几岁”Eg: She is an eight - year - old girl.她是一个八岁的女孩。She is eight years ol

5、d.她八岁。6.at the moment = now 此刻；现在Eg: My father is working at the moment.现在我的爸爸正在工作。7.one of + the + 形容词最高级 + 可数名词复数 “最之一”作主语时，谓语动词常用单数Eg: Mozart is one of the most famous musicians in the world.莫扎特是世界上最著名的音乐家之一。8.Busy (形容词) “繁忙的；繁华的”常见搭配：be busy (in) doing sth.= be busy with sth. “忙于做某事”Eg: She is b

6、usy cooking dinner.= She is busy with dinner.她正忙着做晚饭。9.move to + 地点 “搬到（某地）”Eg: He will move to Beijing tomorrow.他明天将搬到北京。10.work for 为工作; work as 作为工作work out 算出；解决； work on sth.从事工作；忙于work hard at sth. 在某方面努力学习，工作Eg: His father works for a very big company.他的父亲在一个非常大的公司工作。11.Send sb.to do sth.送某人去

7、做某事send sb.to 把某人送到某地send sb.sth.= send sth.to sb. 把某物送给某人Eg: Her mother sent her to learn English.她的妈妈送她去学英语。She sends her daughter to school every day.她每天送她的女儿去上学。Please send the book to Mary.= Please send Mary the book.请把这本书送给玛丽。12.For about two years “持续大约两年”For + 时间段 常常表示“持续多久”就其提问常常用how longEg

8、: - How long have you been like this?- For two days.- 你这样多久了？- 两天了。13.the + 姓氏复数 表示“.一家人”或“.夫妇二人”作主语，谓语动词用复数Eg: The smiths are having dinner. 史密斯一家人正在吃晚饭。14.have been to “曾经去过（去了回来了）”Eg: I have been to the Great Wall.我曾经去过长城。have gone to “去某地（去了没回来）”Eg: He has gone to Beijing.他去北京了。have been in “曾住在

9、某地”Eg: I have been in Beijing for 3 years.我曾住在北京三年。15.for example “例如”一般用于列举同一类人或事物中的一个例子such as “例如”一般用于列举同类人或事物中的几个例子，但必须少于前面总数。Eg: I like fruit, for example, I often eat bananas in the evening.我喜欢水果，例如，我经常晚上吃香蕉。He knows several languages, such as English and Chinese.他直到几种语言，例如英语和中文。16.Travel on a
