3、e My Family poster to the students.- Point to each member and elicit the word for each family member.- Repeat 2-3 times and have the students repeat with you.Activity: - Distribute the Family Members Puzzle and have the students match the family member to their picture. - Once completed, students wi
4、ll have to verbalize who each member is (example: Father, Mother, Brother, etc.)Assessment:- Have students create a family tree of their own family, including the names of each member.Part 3: Lesson 2: Possessive sAim: Students will understand and use the possessive s in sentences.Introduction:- Beg
5、in by asking students if they know what a possessive is. - Explain that a possessive is when we show ownership over something.Activity:- Write the sentence “The car belongs to my father” on the board.- Ask the class what the sentence means and how we can make it shorter using the possessive s. - Wri
6、te the sentence “My fathers car” on the board.- Repeat this process with a few more examples, such as “The book belongs to my sister” and “My sisters book”.- Distribute the Possessive s worksheet for students to complete.Assessment:- Have students write 5 sentences using the possessive s.Part 4: Les
7、son 3: Comparing FamiliesAim: Students will be able to describe their own family and compare with others.Introduction:- Ask students if all families are the same. - Explain that every family is different, but we all have families that we love and care for.Activity: - Create a worksheet with a Venn d
8、iagram, including two separate circles for the students to fill in.- Ask students to fill one circle with things that make their family special, and the other circle with things that make other families special.- After the students complete their diagrams, have them partner up and compare with one another. Assessment:- Have students write a paragraph about their family, using at least one possessive s and comparing it with a partners family paragraph.
