4、）中工作，但现在他在Supermarket（超市）中工作，所以 Dave used to work in a factory.隐含的意思是：Dave worked in a factory before but he doesnt work there now.2.我们可以说 I used to work/She used to have/they used to be等等，也就是说 used 这个词没有人称的变化，to 后面接动词原形。即：used to be/work/have/play etc.请看例句：When I was a child,I used to like chocolat

8、 she doesnt anymore.anymore 可不与 used to 连用（You can use anymore without used to）:She doesnt live in NewYork anymore.anymore 只能和否定词连用:We dont go there anymore.They never talk to me anymore.No one likes him anymore.三、still 我们用 still 来说明某人或某物没有变化。（Use still to show that something or someone has not chan

9、ged）She still lives in Mexico.still 应放在主要动词前面（Use still before the main verb）:He still lives in New Zealand.still 应放在 be 动词后面:He is still crazy after all these years.still 应放在像 can,may,should 这样的助动词之后:She can still play the piano.四、频率副词 频率副词（如 always）在句中位置不同。（Adverbs of frequency can appear in diffe

10、rent positions in a sentence.）它们的位置应是：在主要动词之前，在 be 动词之后，在助动词（will,can,have 等）之后，在 used to 之前。I usually get up at six.You were rarely happy.你很少高兴。You will sometimes hear from them.I have seldom spoken to her.They never used to dance.He always used to call her.五、词语辨析 1.used to 和 would used to 和 would

11、都可表示过去的习惯或行为，常可换用。When we were children we used to/would go skatingevery winter.我们小时候每年冬天都去滑冰。used to 含有较强的“今昔对比”的含义，而 would 无此含义 I do not swim so often as I used to 我不像过去那样常游泳了。（不能用 would 代替）He would sometimes work into the night.以前他常工作到深夜。（不表示现在他不工作到深夜）用 would 时，有时应有时间状语来加以限制，而 used to 则可无时间状语 He

12、would go to see Mother every vacation.（那时）他每个假期去看望妈妈 He isnt what he used to be.他不再是过去的他。2.used to do 和 be used to doing.be used to 是“习惯于”某一客观事实和状态，不强调动作，to是介词，后面接名词或动名词，如：I am used to the weather here.我已经习惯于这里的天气了。He is used to hard work.他习惯于艰苦的工作。get（或 become）used to 指的是从不习惯到习惯这一过程的转变，另外，它往往包含着克服困

17、y seldom.很少 He hardly ever goes to bed before midnight.他很少在午夜以前就寝。9.miss I really miss the old days.miss 在这里为“怀念”的意思。How he misses his mother while she is away in London!他妈妈在伦敦期间，他多么想念她啊！此外 miss 还有“缺”的意思。Im afraid that Jim will miss a lot of his lessons.恐怕 Jim 会缺很多课。错过 I missed catching the 2：15 train.我未赶上 2 点 15 分的火车。missing 失去的，缺少的，不在的，失踪的。They are looking for the missing child.他们在寻找失踪的孩子。10.It seems that(Selfcheck)It seems that YuMei has changed a lot.It seems as if he would recover.看来他好像会康复的。It seemed that the day would never end.那天好像没有尽头似的。
