1、Unit 1 How can we become good learners?Section A Period 1 Section A (la-lc)一、教材分析本单元围绕“做一个优秀的学习者这一话题,首先引入了“I study by working with a group这一重点句型, 接下来学习how引导的特殊疑问句及其答语和复习现在完成时态。本课时包含两个教学重点:其一要求学生学 习、掌握“I study by working with a group.”这一重点句型,;其二,学习how引导的特殊疑问句及其答语。另外, 本课时介绍了许多优秀的英语学习习惯与方法,可引导同学们借鉴采用。二

2、、学情分析本班共有学生52人,经过两年的英语学习,大部分学生可以使用已经学习的知识进行对话练习,能够阅 读简短的英文短文,能够写作简单的英语短文。但是,由于学生发展的不平衡,有部分学生没有达到期待的英 语水平,学习目的不明确,学习方法不科学,因此在教学中,应该鼓励所有学生参与到课堂中,多使用对话练 习,帮助学生养成正确的学习方式,同时,针对不同学生的具体情况,应对不同的学生采取不同的教学方法, 设置不同的学习目标,提高学生的学习兴趣。三、教学目标【知识与能力目标】(1)熟练掌握下列词汇:aloud,pronunciation,discover,repeat, note,pronounce, i

3、ncrease,speed, partner, create, active, connect, review, knowledge, wisely, born, attention(2)熟练掌握下列短语:work with friends, ask the teacher for helpread aloud, look up, practice pronunciation, connect.with., pay attention to(3)掌握下列句型:-How do you study English? -1 learn by working with a group.Do you l

4、earn English by reading aloud? Yes, I do. It helps my pronunciation.How can I read faster? You can read faster by reading word groups.How can I improve my pronunciation?One way is by listening to tapes.But whether or not you can do this well depends on your learning habits【过程与方法目标】本单元的主题是谈论学习方法与习惯,可

5、引导学生采用Listening for specific information, Practicing, Role playing, Reading和Writing等学习策略,学习一些新词汇,掌握一些重点句型,在小组合作学习的过程中,进一步促进 学生对现在完成时态的理解和运用。【情感态度价值观目标】通过对学习方法的学习,培养学生用正确而科学的方法做事的能力,明白“一份耕耘,一份收获四、教学重难点【教学重点】.学会运用how来询问做事方式1 .学会运用by + doing的结构表达做事方式。by介词,表示“通过.方法或途径。译成“靠、通过”。by后面 可以加名词或动名词短语。2 .动名词的构成

6、:动词后加动名词doing,相当于名词,在句子中可以做主语、宾语、表语,定语等。【教学难点】能够熟练运用句型“verb + by + doing”进行调查和汇报。五、课堂准备.准备录音机和磁带;1 .设计课后巩固练习;.制作教学ppt;六、教学过程Step 1. Warm up and presentationFree talk to lead inShow the story Cao Chong Weighs the Elephant. Ask the students the question:T:you read the story?S:Yes.T:Let5s read it.One d

7、ay somebody sent Cao Cao an elephant. Cao Cao wanted to know its weights but there was nothing big enough to weigh it on. Cao Chong told his father he could weigh the elephant if he had a big boat and a lot of heavy stones. Cao Cao and some other people were very surprised, hut still he ordered his

8、men to get everyth in ready. When they led the elephant down into the boat, the water came up, then Cao Chong marked the water line. Then they drove the elephant onto the bank and put the heavy stones in the boat until the water came up to the same line. At last, Cao Chong told the men to weigh each

9、 of the stones. In this way, he weighed the elephant.Students read the story. After read it,ask the question: What do you learn from the passage. Students can discuss with their partners. Then ask some students to answer the questions.Key: When we learn something new,we should use correct ways.Then

10、have a conversation wilh the students.T: What subjects do you learn in school?S: Chinese, Math, English, HistoryT: Do you have any good learning ways? Whats your ways?Ask some students to tell their ways to other students. The teacher write their ways on the blackboard.设计意图:通过曹冲称象的故事,引导学生学习要有正确的方法。再

11、通过创造情景,让学生们用英语说出自己在学习中使用的方法。通过用故事和对话的形式引入新课,吸引学生注意,让学生们都参与到课堂中。Step 2.New wordsPut the new words on the screen. Ask students to read the new word.设计意图:学习新单词,为下面的听力练习和对话练习扫除词汇障碍。Step3.
