17、原因导致的“最终的结果”。(2)finally指经过一段时间的等待才出现结果,主要位于动词前面,有时用于列举中的最后一项,一般不带有感情色彩。(3)at last表明说话者主观的语气很强烈,指经过一段时间的期待好不容易才出现的结果,暗含“等候或耽误很长时间之后才”,带有浓厚的感情色彩,如不耐烦、不顺心、不如意等,而且语气很强烈。通常位于句首或句末。(4)in the end最后,最终。语气稍弱,指经过种种变化、困难和捉摸不定的情况之后某事才发生,可以用来预示将来。We must concentrate our efforts on improving education.我们必须致力于改进教育
