Theyll show interest in the content of the story because they are like stories about girls at their age. They w

8、ictures and actions. Also, they will perceive the use of grammar through comparing. This will help them to understand the story better.2. Lead in the story. I will tell them the name of the story I wanted to read in order to lead in the content today.3. Check students9 memory of new words. I will as
9、k students to match new words with their meanings to help them understand these key words better.5 Play a game. I will invite students to play a picking flowers game. Students will choose a number and I will show the word behind it. Students have to say the past simple tense. This will arouse their
10、interest easily.Step II While-listeningListen for some background information. Students will listen to a short dialogue and get some basic background information about the story. They will judge “T or F for sentences. This easy activity can help them have a general understanding of the story.1. Pred
11、ict what happened. Students will predict what happened to Goldilocks. They will imagine a lot of plots for the story. With enough prediction, they can understand the story better.2. Listen and find out the answer. They will listen and check their prediction.3. Match pictures with key words. With the

With the help of key words, they will be able to view the pictures carefully and say a sentence for them. This can help them to under
13、stand the listening material better and pave the way for their retelling.5. Listen and put the pictures in the correct order. Students will listen and number these pictures. This will not be difficult for them. They will enjoy listening.6. Listen and repeat. They will listen to the dialogue and try
