Paragraphs not mentioned below shall remain as they are described in API 674Paragraphsmarkedin API with a bullet shall apply as stated, if not statedotherwise in thisspecification. Paragra

8、rements for reciprocating positive displacement pumps, their spare parts and accessories (if other special specifications are not valid).1.1 Alternative Designs(Add): Alternative designs deviating from this specification, but suitable for the operating conditions, may be offered in addition. Deviati

9、ons from this specification shall be specified in the proposal for approval by Purchaser.1.2 Conflicting Requirements(Add): The Vendor has to bring discrepancies to Purchasers attention.1.3 Definition of Terms(Add): The term Purchaser as used in this specification shall refer to Linde and/or its aut

10、horized representatives.The term Vendor as used in this specification shall refer to manufacturer of the equipment including his subcontractors.1.4 Referenced Publications(Mod): Instead of the American standards, codes and specifications shown in API 674, the equivalent German standards, codes and s

The driver will be shipped directly to Vendors work shop for mounting and alignment of the whole unit by the Vendor.In case the driver is not a standard electrical motor or a

27、 turbine, an outline drawing of the driver will be supplied to the Vendor.The Vendor shall provide all informations to enable the Purchaser to order the driver 3 weeks after pump purchase order.3.1.2 (Add): Anticipated process variations that may affect the sizing of the driver will be especially sp

41、ise.3.6 Pulsation and Vibration Control RequirementsGeneral(Add):The Vendor shall offer in his proposal suitable pulsation suppression devices. Informations about the preliminary issue of the Purchasers piping system design will be a part of the inquiry.3.6.1 Pulsation Design Approaches(Add): If not

42、 specified otherwise, the Vendor has to check the Purchasers final piping system design concerning detrimental pulsation and vibration.3.6.2.1 (Add): Normally for control of detrimental pulsation and vibration the Design Approach 3 shall be used. For further consideration the costs for Design Approa

43、ch 2 shall be quoted in the Vendors proposal.3.7 Special ToolsNo modifications.4 INSPECTION, TESTING, AND PREPARATION FOR SHIPMENTGeneral(Add): The Vendor shall state the provided scope of inspection and testing in his offer. Based on these informations, eventual additional inspections and tests wil

44、l be specified.4.1.1 (Add): All inspections and tests shall be carried out by the Vendor.
