We cant live without fresh air, clean water and the care of nature, and it is obvious that protect na

7、ture is to protect ourselves. However, the reality is exactly opposite to what we are expected. We poured dirty water and chemical waste into the river and dumped litters everywhere. The automobile exhaust and factory smog pollute the air, which makes us live in fear and discomfort. The limited reso

8、urces cant catch up with our footsteps of development and we will rapidly go into the situation that we would have depleted the non-renewable resources. Whats more, it is much more than a disaster for other species, especially rare breed, which are faced with danger of extinction. People are easily

9、forgetting the principle that protecting nature is protecting ourselves. Above all, it is time for us to arouse our consciousness of environmental protection and conservation of natural resources, which is closely linked up with our future. On the one hand, we should learn to recycle recoverable gar

10、bage and avoid throwing household wastes into water and soil. On the other hand, it is necessary for us to use alternative resources such as wind power and solar power that can substitute for fossil fuels, which is beneficial to the atmosphere. Last but not least, live in harmony with nature means n

11、ot only protecting environment and saving resources but also taking care of other species that live on the earth with us. We have to prevent from destroying the vegetation in order to keep the earth from land desertification, and we must reject poaching so that we can save wild life. Protecting nature means protecting ourselves, nature will treat us as what we do to it.
