Many governments think they should endeavor to improve economies, while some people think that other sorts of advancement are equally significant.Government tend to pay attention to economic levels and make efforts t

3、o improve those because they believe that only boom economy can bring sufficient tax revenue, with which they can ensure that essential public services such as public transport, education, healthcare system, can get enough funds. If governments did not focus on how to improve economy, domestic resid

4、ents might live a poor life, which would give rise to many social problems like crimes, imposing an adverse impact on social stability.While, others believe that other kinds of progress such as environmental conditions, should also get emphases. So they argue that it is not advisable that a country

5、develops economy at the price of environment. For instance, fossil energies such as petrol should be imposed higher tax rates because using these kinds of energy will lead to air pollution. Although taking this kind of measure negatively affect economy because the rising costs in some industries suc

6、h as aviation, it contributes positively to the improvement in environment.In my view, I believe that economic progress should be attached much more importance, especially for those underdeveloped countries. The increase in economy is more likely to improve peoples living conditions such as higher incomes and better medical system, in comparison with other types of advancement.In conclusion, although there some arguments that support the progress of other areas are also important, I still believe that the improvement of economy is the most essential one.
