It is one fo four major buddhist mountain in china and one of five famous major buddhist (佛教徒)holy（神圣） places. Mount Wutai (Shanxi Province), Mount Ermei (Sichuan Province), Mount Jiuhua (Anhui P

2、rovince) and Mount Putuo (Zejiang Province) are reffered to as “four famous moutain of chinese buddhist”. Mount Wutai is known as “five famous major buddhist holy places” with Nepal Lumbini （尼泊尔蓝毗尼）Garden, India Migaranna, Bodh Gaya and Kushinagar Buddha.Achievement In 1992, Ministry of Forestry app

3、roved mount wutai as a “national forest park”.（在一月，2001，国家旅游局批准为“第一国家AA AA级景区） In January, 2001, the National Tourism Administration approved for “the first national AAAA level scenic areas”. In September, 2005, mount wutai passed through the evaluation of the fourth national geological park, became
