I think animals are more interesting. 我认为动物更加有趣。 interestinginterested interesting是形容词，意思是“令人感兴趣的，一般指人、物本身是有趣的。 如：Playing basketball is very interesting. 打篮球很有趣。 interested是形容词。一般指人

2、对某物感兴趣，固定词组为be interested in.对感兴趣。 如：This book is so interesting that everyone is interested in it. 这本书是如此的有趣以至于每个人都对它感兴趣。 拓展：在英语中，有两大类动词构成的形容词，一类是v-ing型的形容词，另一类是v-ed型的形容词，常见的有： v-ing 词义v-ed 词义 interesting有趣的interested感兴趣 surprising令人吃惊的surprised感到吃惊的 amazing令人惊异的amazed感到惊奇的 exciting令人兴奋的excited感到兴奋

3、的 boring无聊的bored感到厌烦的 disappointing令人失望的disappointed感到失望 moving感人的moved受感动的 2. 6、 lay eggs. 春天它回到淡水的小溪里产卵。 return动词。返回，回到come back；归还give back。 如：He returned to Beijing last Sunday. 上个星期天他返回到。 Please return the book to me tomorrow. 请明天把书归还给我。 6. So the butterfly is losing its home. 因此，蝴蝶正失去它的家园。 lose丧失，过去式lost。 The little girl lost her way in the street. 小女孩在街上迷路了。 He lost his b

What are you thinking about? 你正在想什么？ think aboutthink ofthink over think about意为考虑、思考，与think of同义。 如：Im thinking about/ of where to spend my holiday. 我正在考虑到哪里去度假。 think of作想起、认为时与think about不同。 如：She often thinks of her old friends. 她经常想起她的老朋友。 think over意为仔细考虑、

8、思考。over为副词、代词应放在其前。 如：I thought it over last Sunday. 上个星期天我仔细考虑那件事。 Let me think over this difficult problem. 让我仔细思考这道难题。 2. The plants stay green longer there. 在那里，植物保持绿色的时间更长。 stay表示继续保持某种状态，后接形容词做表语。 如：The shop stays open till 12 oclock. 这家商店到12点才打烊。 We must stay happy. 我们必须保持快乐。 3. In this area,

9、 there is very little rain. 这个地区几乎没有雨。 fewa fewlittlea little few与可数名词复数连用，表示否认。意思“很少，几乎没有 如：He is a man of few words. 他是个沉默寡言的人。 He knows few friends here. 他在这里几乎不认识朋友。 little与不可数名词连用，表示否认，意思“很少，几乎没有 There is little water in the glass. 杯子里几乎没有水了。 I have little interest in politics. 我对政治没有什么兴趣。 a fe

10、w, a little表示肯定，一些，有some意思接近，但a few修饰可数名词，a little修饰不可数名词。 There are a few eggs, a little bread in the fridge. 冰箱里有一些鸡蛋，一些面包。 4. In summer, rocks, streams and forests are even more beautiful, with blue skies, clear lakes and fast-flowing rivers. 夏天，岩石、小溪和森林更美丽，同时还有蓝天、清澈的湖泊和湍急的河流。 with为介词，表示行为方式的用法。

11、with名词代词介词短语 With a book in her hand, Miss Li comes into the classroom. with名词代词adj形adv副 He often sleeps with the windows open. 他经常开着窗户睡觉。 形容词的比拟级可以被even“更much“得多等副词修饰。much, a lot, a little, even, still表示比拟的程度。 如：It was cold yesterday, but it is even colder today. 昨天很冷，今天更冷。 This book is much more i

Thousands and thousands of animals live in rainforests. 千千万万的动物生活在热带雨林。 hundred百500 five hundred800 eight hundred thousand千5000 five thousand8000 eight thousand 注意：hundred, thousand前加基数词时，不加s，不用复数形式。thousands of成千上万的，hundreds of成百上千的 注意与介词of连用时，hu

13、ndred, thousand要用复数形式。 There are two thousand students in our school. 在我们里有两千学生。 Thousands of foreigners come to China every year. 每年成千上万的外国人来到中国。 2. They cant live at all without water. 没有水，他们根本不能活。 without介词“没有，反义词with 如：He goes to school without breakfast every day. 他每天没吃早餐就去上学。 He worked all day
