,. A When it comes to learning English, many students are uncomfortable. They are at a loss what to answer the questions of learning English. I am no exception. But I find it interesting to learn English when I explore the method to learn it. The first class have a good expression on my mind. When my English teacher read the words, I saw many classmates writing down Chinese below the English words to remember the pronunciation. So I gradually do that. One day, my teacher found this. She told us not to remember the words in that way. You should learn how to read the phonetic symbols is a good thing help me learn English. However, the pronunciation is still not accurate. When I met’ ʌ’,’ e’, ‘ ‘,I don’t know how to tell them. In order to overcome this question, I learn English though imitation. Imitation includes many ways, such as listening to the tape, listening to the standard pronunciations and daily conversation. In conclusion, what I experienced enables me to learn English well. The key to success is imitation. B Advantages of taking P.E. courses Nowadays, many colleges cancelled the P.E. courses when the students are facing the exams. Some colleges even don’t have P.E. courses. I’m sorry about that. The P.E. courses is the same importance as the other subjects. In my opinion, taking P.E. courses can be advantageous to all college students. First, taking P.E. courses will make them learn valuable communication and teamwork skills. When it comes to science courses, the teachers help students develop their logic and thoughts. However, the P.E. will make students communicate with each other. Besides, it will request students to cooperate with others. In this way, the students will have the spirit of teamwork. Another important advantage is that students taking natural science courses can handle heavy coursework more effectively. Similarly, they will increase efficiency in studying other subjects. In addition, when they facing the difficulties and hard tasks, they won’t be afraid of these. Moreover, they will have a stronger body which will help them fight everything. In short, taking a P.E. courses at college can benefit students in developing useful social skills as well as better coping skills for their stress at school. What’s more, the communication and teamwork skills will be a great help for their future. C When it comes to college, adults always say it is a small society which will help you develop yourselves. Before I am admitted to Lan Zhou University, I was eager for the crowded subway, college life in the metropolis, what a wonderful life! However, I was arranged here by god. I was sad following my dream was shattered, Im not satisfied with the desolation in the Northwest. I even regretted it. Nonetheless, I choose to accept this arrangement. When I see the light in the library at six, the students who are out until ten, I gradually feel the charm of this college. I also have been one of them, I get rid of the laziness, wearing the stars with the moon. I start a new life, I have more spare time so that I can take part in varieties of activities, to broaden my horizons. I look for my interests. I would sit in the classroom, learning the major that I want to learn. I would lie in the sunshine of dormitory. I would climb the Cui Ying mountains, breathe the fresh air which I never have breathed before. This is my college life. It brought me the life that I didn’t have in middle high school. The middle high school gave me the knowledge, but the college gives me the wonderful life. D Making a public speech In my eyes, I am an introverted man. But I have wanted to take part in an English speech contest in my high school. However, I gave it up finally for lack of courage. Now, I regret it. So, when I come to the college, I make my mind to participate in an English speech. I make it thought it is not very perfect as I had expected. The other day, I practiced my speech a lot with notes for my college life. I watched varieties of speech videos to learn their tips and pronunciation. When that day came, I went up to the platform with my heart beating faster. What’s worse, I forgot the words I would to say. I was awkward at a loss. My face was red. When I finished my speech, I couldn’t find a way to get into the seam. I picked up the notes for my CET4 test instead of speech notes that day, but I made it. Thought it is not better than I expected, I challenged myself successfully. It is my fortune which will help me grow confidently. In short, it’s my first time that I have delivered English speech in public. The three-minutes speech that day made me realize that people can always overcome their odds if they are motivated. E It is often said that whatever wealth one may have will be gone quickly if the person only spends. However, some people think the purpose of life is to enjoy moment, so they spend all they have earned. Even though Bryan and Peter are close friends, their spending habits are very different. Bryan is very careful about using his pocket money. He only spends money when it’s necessary. For example, when his pocket money is only $50,he may spend $20 on necessary stationery for schoolwork. He will try to deposit the remaining $30 in his savings account. In his opinion, though the amount is small, it will help him for a possible rainy day since people never know what could happen in the future. Unlike Bryan, Peter usually spends money at will. He often purchases expensive electronic products such as an iPhone and iPad. Sometimes, he might buy himself an expensive brand-name shirt or a pair of expensive brand- name shoes. Different from Byan, he never deposits extra money in a bank after meeting his basic needs. To him, saving money in a bank is something silly because he believes that he can always earn big money after he gets a decent job in the future. All in all, Bryan and Peter are very different in the way they spend money. Spending money wisely and saving extra money for future urgent needs enable students to manage their finance and fully concentrate on their study. They will also derive great pleasure from the way they handle their money. F When it comes to money, people will always pay more attention to it. Different people will have different attitudes to it. Bryan and Peter are close friends, but their spending habit is very different. Bryan leads a frugal life. He only spends money when it’s necessary. For example, he never purchases the goods which are more than he can afford or he doesn’t need. Furthermore, he also saves money whenever he can. So, Bryan manages the money in a planned way. I view this action with approval. Thereisnodenyingthat Bryan is a planned man. However, I disagree with the way that Peter spends money. Peter lives a prodigal life. On the contrary, he often spends money on expensive items. As far as he is concerned, he buys the items whether they are useful or useless. What’s more, he never saves any money for the future. So, Peter is an unplanned people. This way that he manages money will cause him a loss. By making comparison between Bryan and Peter, itisobviousthat Bryan and Peter are very different in the way they spend money. Onnoaccountcan we waste the money. We need to take our economic capacityintoaccount. Only in this way can we have a good future. G Womens management style Nowadays, there are more and more people viewing the new phenomenon that the boss’s gender is turning female from male with approval. So, the competition between female and male is more and more fierce. The female is good because womens management style tends to be more communicative and relationship-oriented. Womens management style tends to be more communicative. In the company, the female bosses are much more accessible to their employees. They’re more sensitive and intimate with their employees. They also can communicate with them friendly. For example, when facing a problem, female boss will be more careful and encourage employees to overcome it. However, male boss will be more independent and overcome it by themselves. In addition, womens management style tends to be more relationship-oriented. Women will pay more attention to employees’ needs to build an interactive relationship which will create an comfortable atmosphere. This will increase the work efficiency. In conclusion, womens natural management style helps them succeed in their workplace. Compared to women, men are still a little step away. But in average, women and men both have the own advantages and disadvantages about the management style. H What causes peoples irrational behavior What’s the irrational behavior? It is the people do some ridiculous actions with no sense. There are many reasons which can result in irrational behavior. The most important factors are uncontrolled emotions and stressed feeling. First, uncontrolled emotions will exist any time. Many people can’t consult their emotions. When they face a thing which don’t be expected in their mind, they may do some ridiculous actions. In addition, there are more reasons can lead to their discontent. If they can control their emotions correctly, they will be wise to face anything. Second, nowadays, more and more people feel stressed. With the technology developing fast, life style is faster and faster. Facing many things and receiving many messages make people feel stressed and depressed. Many people are crazy so that they do irrational behavior. What we should do is that relaxing yourselves and slowing down your rhythm of life. Only in this way, you will release yourselves from the pressure. In a word, uncontrolled emotions and too much stress can result in irrational behavior. If you are experiencing these pains, you should realize the importance of the questions. Clam down and slow down, and you will be more comfortable and enjoyable.
