2、ven,at 17 public schools。Cortisol (皮质醇)levels were then assessed from the samples as the hormone is commonly used as abiological indicator of stress.Correspondingly,teacher burnout was determinedthrough survey results。Investigators found that in classrooms in which teachers experienced moreburnout,o

5、onnection between student and teacher stress acyclical problem in the classroom。” Oberle said a stressful classroom climatecould be a result of inadequate support for teachers,which may impact teachersability to effectively manage their students。A poorly managed classroom cancontribute to students n

6、eeds not being met and increasing stress。This could bereflected in elevated cortisol levels in students.Alternatively,stress could originate from students,who may be morechallenging to teach because of increases in anxiety,behavioral problems,orspecial needs。In this case,teachers could feel overwhel

7、med and report higherlevels of burnout.“Our study is a reminder of the systemic issues facing teachers andeducators as classroom sizes increase and supports for teachers are cut,” saidOberle.“It is clear from a number of recent research studies that teaching isone of the most stressful professions,a
