5、wledge摘要: 本文通过对西南地区一所全国重点大学1610名新生进行词汇量测试以及分级考试,在总体分级考试成绩中随机抽样200个并与相应考生的词汇量测试成绩进行比较分析, 就词汇量对语言综合能力的影响,以及与词汇深度知识之间的关系进行了研究。结果表明:词汇量只能预测语言综合能力的34.7%, 对不同语言水平的学习者来说,词汇量对语言综合能力的预测力和影响模式均不同;词汇深度知识随着词汇量的增长而增长, 但对不同词汇水平的学习者来说, 其词汇深度知识的发展极不平衡。关键词:词汇量 vocabulary size 分级考试 Placement Test 语言综合能力 English achie

7、th of lexical knowledge. 1610 freshmen in one national key university in southwestern part of China took a vocabulary measurement test and a placement test respectively. A random sample of 200 subjects was chosen according to their scores on the Placement Test which were compared and analyzed with t

8、heir scores on the vocabulary measurement test. It is found that vocabulary size does not have a great influence on English achievement, only 34.7 percent of which can be predicted by vocabulary size, and the influence of vocabulary size on English achievement varies between learners with different levels of English achievement. It is also found that the learners depth of lexical knowledge becomes greater with their increase in vocabulary size. However, for learners with different vocabulary sizes, there is disproportionate development in their depth of lexical knowledge.专心-专注-专业
